Each job is assessed individually and pricing is determined based on the following considerations:
the amount of work being asked, the effort required to properly complete the work, and the time it takes to complete the job.
We can determine this based on the condition, design, and number of windows involved. For our other services we gauge the surface area to be cleaned.
We provide competitive rates, guarantee quality work, and ensure that the job will be handled appropriately.
The best way to get a quote is by phone or email. If you provide the address and photos of the house we can get a better understanding of what all you would like to have cleaned to establish a price. I will email you a quote for the services schedule a date for the work to be completed.
We try to accommodate everyone's busy schedule. When requesting our services please specify when you were hoping to have the work done. Then we can book you in for a particular date or schedule the work for as soon as possible.
I, Tyler McMaster, Owner/Operator of McMaster Window Cleaning, will be arriving on time with one or two of our trained employees to complete the scheduled work. Always when cleaning interior windows we clean inside the window track and remove the screen to be cleaned.
Yes when cleaning interior windows we clean the screens.
We ask that you move anything precious or fragile away from the windows as we need enough clearance to operate comfortably.
We conduct ourselves as professionals whether we are in front of customers or left to work alone. I trust the people I work with and all of my employees are bondable.
When working outside we can usually complete all of the work alone, unless outside screens need to be removed.
To work inside we need permission from the home owner, as well as access to the inside windows or to remove outside screens.
Depending on the amount of work involved we may need to draw water from the property or somewhere nearby. We carry a tank of purified water for cleaning windows, but when washing house siding we will need access to water from the building.
When using our water-fed brushing system we filter our water to remove any particles that would remain in the water on the glass. This allows the water to evaporate in minutes without leaving streaks or spots on the window, eliminating the need to ladder up to squeegee the glass.
The water-fed brushing system provides a better quality of clean for window washing and reduces the involvement of ladders, providing a safer working environment. The water is purified and will dry similar to a touchless carwash.

We handle our work with care and are delicate when cleaning peoples homes.
When cleaning houses and siding we use a light pressure spray from a safe distance to prevent damaging the surface or pushing water underneath edges.
No we do not use harmful chemicals. We use ecofriendly soaps that dissolve when watered down. We also make sure to clean up our work area so there is no residual soap or mess.
When cleaning we may have to reach high areas inside the house or outside to the roof's edge. We take safety precautions and use protective equipment to prevent risk of damage to the house and property. All contact points are protected with rubber and cloth, and before setting up we determine the most appropriate way to approach the height.
Any mess or debris that we remove from the eavestrough we can haul off the property and dispose of properly.
Windows, siding, and eavestroughs will need to be cleaned at least once in the year to prevent any wear or damage to the house.
We recommend having these cleaning services twice a year to keep up with general maintenance and to prolong the quality of these fixtures.
The best times for these services are Spring after the thaw and Autumn after the leaves fall.
Cleaning sky lights and ceiling windows are an additional service that is not included in a general house quote unless formally requested.
It is to be made clear if requesting for sky lights or ceiling windows if the customer is asking to have outside, inside, or both sides of the glass cleaned.
Cleaning glass railings is an additional service we can provide but it is not included in a general house quote unless requested.
It is to be made clear when requesting if the glass is only to be cleaned or the entire railing with glass panels.
Anything on the glass that does not come off with our regular cleaning methods may require additional attention which we would consider a 'construction clean'. We do have tools to remove excess off the window glass but we can only do so with permission from the property owner.
These requests should be arranged in advance.
Hard water cannot be cleaned off of a window using standard methods of cleaning. Even when cleaned by hand the glass will still appear hazy. Hard water damage will occur when window glass gets constantly wet with unfiltered water.
Calcium deposits can penetrate the pores of the glass leaving the window with a white spotty crusty appearance. We have not found a solution to deal with this problem so we do not offer this in our services.
